Baltazar Chavez comes from generations of craftsmen and woodworkers and was born in Guadalajara, Mexico. For over 20 years, he has created permanent, lifelike trees using natural hard woods. Baltazar has directed our tree builders for more than a decade at the Plantworks and traveled across the country to construct his designs on sites. He loves creating trees, which are works of art. Among some of these masterpieces are the 45-foot Swamp Cypress trees completed at Paragon Resort and Casino in Louisiana, and the Boxwood hedges installed at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. His wife, Celestina, their three children, and his two dogs have lived in Las Vegas for many years. Besides his lovely family, Baltazar enjoys antiques and collecting historical artifacts.
