Seasonal climate changes in Reno, Nevada, prohibited the use of live landscape plants for the planned Tuscan renovation at Peppermill Resort Casino. The design criteria dictated the use of 20 ft. to 30 ft. artificial Italian Cypress along with artificial exterior English ivy plants. Plantworks developed a custom manufactured UV rated landscape throughout the property. Each artificial plant had to be engineered to withstand all types of weather including snow and subfreezing temperatures, rain, and summer weather into the 90 degree mark.

The largest artificial exterior cypress tree ever built was engineered and permanently installed outside Peppermill. It required weeks of skilled construction and the efforts of our master tree builders.

ARTIFICIAL SPIRAL ITALIAN CYPRESS TOPIARY

Plantworks built 12-foot cone artificial Italian Cypress trees and set them 20 feet above the water. Exterior grapevine and under plantings were also installed onsite. Plantworks designers put finishing touches on all completed plantings.

This 24-foot artificial Italian Cypress was one of over 60 built for this project. Each tree has a steel frame and was manufactured by hand in our Las Vegas facility. Artificial cypress trees are one of our specialties.
