LARGE OUTDOOR ARTIFICIAL PLANTS
Seasonal climate changes in Reno, Nevada, prohibited the use of live landscape plants for the planned Tuscan renovation at Peppermill Resort Casino. The design criteria dictated the use of 20 ft. to 30 ft. artificial Italian Cypress along with artificial exterior English ivy plants. Plantworks developed a custom manufactured UV rated landscape throughout the property. Each artificial plant had to be engineered to withstand all types of weather including snow and subfreezing temperatures, rain, and summer weather into the 90 degree mark.

LARGE ARTIFICIAL PLANTS
Variegated artificial Mahonia shrubs were built to be 18-feet tall. The UV rated Mahonia shrubs were under planted with “Polyblend®” color in concrete directly in the exterior pots.

Plantworks can create tree art by using many types of natural woods: Peeled Curly Willow, Birch, Grapevine, Sand Blasted Grapevine, Manzanita, Sanded Blasted Manzanita, Natural Bamboo and Yucca.

OUTDOOR POLYBLEND ARTIFICIAL PLANTS
Exterior bougainvillea plants and geraniums filled hanging baskets and balcony areas. All the plants are UV rated for lasting durability and color fastness.
The 1,000-square-foot trellis plantings in the spa/pool areas were designed on site. Flowering vines wound around the large structure to create a natural year round look and providing shade for the hotel guests.
