Diverse Designs for the Commercial Marketplace

For over 30 years, Plantworks has been creating diverse designs for the commercial marketplace. Our ability to take concepts and create real visual impact with them, on any scale, continues to inspire our team and clients. Plantworks welcomes new challenges, and we look forward to working with you in the future to create something inspirational. For now, we have chosen some special projects to share with you.

Cabela’s – Charleston, West Virginia

Museum quality, geographically correct native trees complete one of Cabela’s world acclaimed retail environments. Plantworks’ Tree Builders used real woods to create Oak, Maple, Pine and Birch Trees. Each tree was handcrafted at Plantworks’ 20,000-square-foot Design Center. No two trees were the same, which continues to add to the realism of Cabela’s visual shopping experience.

Golden Nugget – Downtown Las Vegas

This famous and timeless casino went through an amazing interior design update when Landry’s acquired the property. Plantworks worked closely with the owners’ design team to implement carefully constructed changes that wouldn’t interfere with the classic feel of the casino. Here in the lobby entrance, synthetic mosses and succulents were designed onsite to blend with architectural glass art shapes.

Monte Carlo – Las Vegas Strip

The Big Belly Buffet, at the very active MGM Resorts International property, Monte Carlo, transformed during a total remodel. Designers were to keep the original architectural form, including leaving many inline planters. Yet, the corporate design team’s criteria was to use non-traditional plants or flowers in the redesign. Plantworks created unique elements, after many reviews and mock ups, which were repeated throughout in several different sizes. The new botanical look was completed with a fun, clear and fresh metallic design.

Blue Ribbon Sushi Bar & Grill – The Cosmopolitan Las Vegas

This intimate restaurant venue required stylized Bonsai Trees that were authentic, artificial and oversized to complete the atmosphere. Twelve distinct trees were created using multiple, “all natural” grape vine trunks. Each tree measured seven to eight feet tall, and over eight feet wide.
